Catch up in ten seconds
A briefing is for the moment you return to a conversation you missed. Browse reads it for you.
01The problem is not the number of messages
Most of what you miss in a day doesn't matter on its own. What costs you is finding the few things that do: the decision someone made, the question waiting for your answer, the file you were meant to see.
02What Browse gives you
Ask Browse to catch you up and it recaps what happened since you last checked: who said what, what was decided, and what is still open.
The figures in a briefing, such as the number of messages, the people involved and the busiest day, are counted, not estimated, so they are exact every time.
03Where it works
In Slack, a briefing can cover one channel, every channel Browse has been invited to, or a period you set with two dates. You can also have one arrive by direct message every morning or every Monday.
Browse reads only the channels it has been invited to, so you decide what it sees.
