01What Botsman keeps

Only what it needs to work for you: your account, meaning your email and name; the notes, links and files you choose to teach it; short facts it learns from your conversations; and the accounts you connect.

When you bring in your ChatGPT or Claude history, Botsman reads only your own messages, keeps a short summary and a few facts, and never stores the conversations themselves.

02What it never touches

Botsman does not read your inbox. In Slack it reads only the channels it has been invited to. In Google Drive it reaches only the documents it created with you or that you opened with it, never your whole Drive.

Face recognition in Present is off unless you turn it on. It runs only on your device, your face is never uploaded, and it never identifies anyone else in the room.

03What we never do with it

Your data is never sold and never used for advertising, and Botsman does not train AI models on it. No one at Botsman reads it, except when you ask for support, when the law requires it, or to investigate abuse.

04Who helps us run it

A few trusted providers help deliver the service: Anthropic for the AI that writes answers, providers for speech and transcription, email delivery, payments and hosting. Each receives only what its part needs. The full list is in our privacy policy.

05Yours to see and erase

Everything Botsman has learned about you is listed in the Learning Center in your account. Read any of it and delete any of it, or say “forget …” in any chat.

Disconnect an account from Setup, or a social account from Create, and its access is deleted at once. Ask us to delete your account and your data is removed within 30 days, apart from records the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.

06Kept safe

Everything travels over encrypted connections, and every message that arrives from Slack, Telegram or Microsoft Teams is checked to be genuine before Botsman acts on it.
